CHARITIES &
SOCIAL ENTERPRISES

Staff safety is of utmost importance, particularly for those on the frontline who may face challenging situations involving vulnerable or unpredictable clients. In such cases, self-defence training is not just beneficial—it can be essential ifor employees to feel prepared and protected in their roles.

Alternatively, offering self-defence training to clients themselves can be truly transformative. When approached with care and sensitivity, these sessions become a valuable part of the healing process, especially for those recovering from traumatic experiences such as domestic violence or childhood abuse.

Delivered in small, supportive groups and guided by a trauma-informed instructor, our sessions are tailored to the pace and comfort of the participants. We take special care to minimise potential triggers, focusing on techniques that help manage anxiety, foster self-regulation, strengthen the mind-body connection, and gently expand each individual’s ‘window of tolerance’.
